The sponge-like action of Zep-O-Zorb soaks up oil, grease, and water to help eliminate slipping dangers. It can also improve traction on wet or icy floors by providing a rough, nonslid surface to walk on. Zep-O-Zorb will not crush or dust under traffic. This noncombustible, all-purpose absorbent inhibits the combustion of absorbed flammable substances, picking up spilled flammable liquids and "locking them up" to reduce fire hazards. It will not react with strong oxidizers, acids, and other chemicals.

Zep-O-Zorb is designed to pick up 115 to 140 percent of its weight in water and 105 to 115 percent of its weight in oil. By absorbing oil and grease before they can soak into concrete or wood, this inert, highly porous granular absorbent is authorized for use as an absorbent or anti-slip agent for spot applications to floors in federally inspected meat and poultry processing plants. It is also recommended for garages, hangars, factories, kitchens, other food processors, warehouses, and shops.
