Q: Can I really erase what I write with these pens without damaging the paper?
A: Yes. FriXion pens write smoothly and erase cleanly without damaging documents or leaving messy eraser shavings. The heat generated by erasing friction causes the thermo-sensitive ink to become clear and disappear from the page.
Q: How does the erasing mechanism work?
A: The pens use a unique, thermo-sensitive gel ink formula. When exposed to heat from erasing friction, the ink becomes colorless at temperatures greater than 140 degrees Fahrenheit and disappears from the page.
Q: What happens if the erased ink gets cold again?
A: The thermo-sensitive ink is restored when cooled to at least 14 degrees Fahrenheit.
Q: How many pens are included in this pack?
A: This pack includes 8 Fine Point (0.7mm) Pilot FriXion Ball Erasable Assorted Gel Ink Pens.
Q: What point size do these pens have?
A: These pens have a Fine Point size of 0.7mm.
Q: Are these pens refillable?
A: Yes, the pens are refillable with quick-drying ink that prevents smudges and smears.
Q: What colors are included in the assorted pack?
A: The pack includes assorted ink colors, though the specific colors are not detailed in the product information.
Q: Who manufactures these pens?
A: FriXion Gel Pens are manufactured by Pilot Corporation and made in Japan.
