This special-purpose fire extinguisher is UL Listed to 711A for residential cooking equipment and meets NFPA 10 standards. Tested on oils commonly used in kitchens, this extinguisher features a proprietary nozzle design that minimizes oil splashing by gently dispensing in a 5' arc, unlike traditional fire extinguishers.
The broad, dispersed discharge of the agent provides a high-volume, low-velocity delivery of dry chemical. With 2.5 lb. of fire extinguishing agent, this single-use extinguisher contains nontoxic sodium bicarbonate, similar to baking soda, ensuring it won't damage your stove and making clean-up easy.
The pressure gauge allows for an immediate status check, while the easy-to-pull safety pin ensures quick activation. The rust-resistant and impact-resistant nylon handle, along with the lightweight and corrosion-resistant powder-coated aluminum cylinder, make this extinguisher durable and reliable.
Additionally, this fire extinguisher includes a UL approved wall hanger made of sturdy plastic for convenient storage and access.
