The Big Bang Chair Glide Removal Tool™ is our most popular tool to remove chair glides. Simply place the removal tool above the glide base (or ferrule) and strike the RT8 tool with a hammer or mallet. The tool features hardened steel construction with a cushioned grip handle so that it has all the strength of a heavy steel tool but with the comfort of a simple grip. The unique V-shaped wedge design is built to fit around any furniture leg tubing size, making this the most effective glide removal tool on the market.
The tool features side brackets that are made specifically to remove glide caps plus you can use the Big Bang Glide removal tool to install chair glides as well. This tool allows the user to tap on the glide by tapping the tool and not the glide, preventing any damage to the glide. The Big Bang Glide Tool also works great for removing casters!
